Liann & Keo’s Wedding on O`ahu | Hawaii Wedding Photographer

Who doesn’t love a guy who would watch “27 Dresses” with you?  That’s what Liann and Keo did on their first date after they had lunch at a Szechuan dumpling restaurant, but Keo didn’t want their date to end and they ended up watching Korean dramas for the rest of the day and then continued on with a Thai dinner!

After 2.5 years of dating, Keo took Liann to Thailand and South Korea as her graduation gift from graduate school.  He decided to propose to her in Seoul.  With the help of Katie (Liann’s maid-on-honor) who lives in Seoul, Keo got a beautiful room at the Hyatt.  After checking in to the hotel, they went to visit the famous Seoul Tower, which has an amazing 360-degree view of the entire city!

While there, Liann and Keo bought a ceramic tile and wrote on it: “Every day I grow older and more in love with you.  Today is very special.  A day we won’t ever forget.  I will love and cherish you forever.  I look forward to a life full of happy memories together.”  They glued the tile onto a low ceiling in the tower.  Keo then took Liann to the part of the tower that faces toward Seattle (where they both live) and he got down on one knee and proposed to Liann.  Of course she said YES!

After the proposal, they went outside to the Tower’s “Locks of Love” area and added their lock to the chain link fence that surrounds the Tower.  Couples usually buy a lock, write on it, lock it to the fence and throw away the key to symbolize everlasting love!  When Keo and Liann returned to the hotel, the room was decorated with pink (Liann’s favorite color) balloons, roses on the counter, rose petals on the bed and tub and a box of chocolates!

Congratulations, Liann and Keo!  Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to document your special day!  To watch their online slideshow, please CLICK HERE!
